CHIROPRACTOR DR. LYDIA BRODIE!

We would like to introduce our newest Balanced Body team member, Dr. Lydia Brodie.  Dr. Brodie recently graduated from CMCC in Toronto and is beginning the post-graduate residency program in the Clinical Sciences.  She will be seeing patients Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons and Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  We are excited to have her as a part of the team and look forward to growing together with her.

Here is a little more about her:

Dr. Brodie was inspired to work in the health industry by her love of sports and ambition to help Chiropractor Dr. Lydia Brodiepeople achieve their full potential.  She enjoys an active and healthy lifestyle, but believes it is important to keep everything in BALANCE.  When treating patients, she focuses on restoring pain free functional motion, as well as injury prevention.  Dr. Brodie creates individualized treatment plans that are centered around the patient’s needs. She integrates the latest scientific evidence in her multidisciplinary approach to the health care of her patients.

Dr. Brodie utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques including chiropractic manipulation of the spine and extremities, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, fascial distortion, custom orthotics, patient education and injury rehabilitation.  Dr. Brodie enjoys working with patients at all fitness levels and recognizes the significance of efficient injury recovery.

She obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, graduating with Clinical Honours and Magna Cum Laude designation.  Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Brodie completed her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Guelph, majoring in Biomedical Science.  She has also completed additional certifications in Contemporary Acupuncture from McMaster University and Fascial Distortion Model.  Dr. Brodie is currently completing a post-graduate program in the Chiropractic Clinical Sciences at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
