Downtown Toronto Chiropractor - Balanced Body AHCIt is exciting to open an active health centre in this vibrant and diverse neighbourhood. As a local resident, I see that there is a need for a clinic that compliments those that have a shared passion for active living and vitality. I am excited to build a team of dedicated health professionals that can bring balance to your body and make you feel better today and in the days to come.

In my youth, I was active in rugby and weight training, which led to various injuries. I learned quite early that the best treatment came from my chiropractor who not only gave me an understanding of my injuries but also provided the treatment and rehabilitation that I needed to get back on the field. Those experiences motivated me to become a chiropractor (education) and excel in the undergraduate chiropractic program (awards). I continued on to complete the post-graduate program in the Chiropractic Clinical Sciences at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to become a Fellow of the College of Chiropractic Sciences in 2011 (publications).

Now, by combining my background as a clinical chiropractic specialist and personal trainer, I use a patient-centred approach to work with and educate patients on how to correct their stationary postures and movement patterns to maximize healing in the short term and prevent future recurrences of the same pain. I develop customized treatment plans for each individual because I understand that everyone has a unique health, social, environmental and functional history that affects the way they experience, cope with and recover from an injury. I use hands-on chiropractic adjustments, various forms of soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, custom foot orthotics, postural correction, lifestyle education and a functional rehabilitation-based approach to help patients return to their full potential for work, play and activities of daily living and bring balance back to their lives.

I also enjoy an active and healthy lifestyle including weight training, running and cycling, both on roads and on trails.
