John Biggar BSc Kin, MSc PT, CSCS
John is passionate about physiotherapy, sports medicine and rehabilitation. He enjoys helping individuals of all ages reach their personal, athletic and occupational goals through improving their overall health and performance. As a Physiotherapist, John has worked and travelled internationally acting as lead team therapist for rugby, soccer, field hockey, and ball hockey teams for both men’s and women’s leagues. Locally he has worked as a physiotherapist for Junior A and AAA baseball, ice hockey and lacrosse teams.
John has worked in private clinics, a rehabilitation hospital and high performance sport settings in which he gained valuable experience in treating a variety of acute, chronic and post surgical orthopaedic injuries. He is a proud member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
John’s passion for athletics and sports medicine is a driving force behind his pursing of the Sport Diploma through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Sport Division. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University and his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto, his post-graduate training has focused on acupuncture, Kinesio Taping, strength and conditioning, and advanced manual therapy assessment and treatment through the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA.
